Aviationnews.eu is a Dutch site and because we are Dutch we would like to give special attention to all the victims of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 that was shot down over the Ukraine last Thursday July 17th.

The grief in our country is great, because of the loss of life, the needless cause of the crash but most of all the political games being played causing so much delay in retrieving the remains and personal belongings of the passengers.

Aviationnews.eu always tries to keep away from personal feelings because a news-site is just what it states… a news-site.

Our foreign minister Mr. Timmermans was given the opportunity to give a statement in the UN council, he was able to pinpoint exactly the feelings of the Dutch people in this tragedy, we decided to share this emotional statement because it also states exactly what we feel as Dutch citizens and far more importantly as humans..
