Dutch military buys 4 MQ-9 Reaper drones.

RAF EYE IN THE SKY HITS 20,000 HOURS OVER AFGHANISTAN

The Dutch ministry of Defence says it buys the 4 MQ-9 drones that should be introduced at the end of 2016, and fully operational by the end of 2017.

The Reapers will be bought ‘of the shelf’ and is also capable to carry weapons, at this moment The Netherlands is not planning to use that option.

A Reaper system consists of 4 drones and one radar and ground station.
