Sustaining the UK’s Tornado aircraft
New study contract will look at sustaining the Royal Air Force’s Tornado aircraft.
A new six-month study contract known as Tornado Project Quest will look at the future sustainment requirements for the UK’s Tornado fleet.
The majority of work for the study will be carried out at BAE Systems, Warton with close engagement of all Tornado stakeholders especially the MoD Tornado project team, Panavia, NETMA and MoDSAP. As well as looking at sustainment requirements, the study will also look at how best to provide affordable support solutions for the Tornado fleet.
This work follows on from a similar activity on Typhoon which resulted in the recently announced.
