LEGACY 500’S MOCK-UP STOPS AT CANNES AIRSHOW 2011

Embraer will participate in the newly renamed Cannes Airshow 2011 (www.cannesairshow.com/), in France, June 9-11. Formerly called Eur-Avia, the fifth edition of this annual international exhibition dedicated to general aviation in Europe, will be staged at Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (CEQ). Embraer is supporting by exhibiting the newest full-scale mock-up of the midsize Legacy 500, along with the entry level Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300 executive light jet.

“Embraer is happy to return to Cannes Airshow and display the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 together for the first time on the French Riviera,” said Colin Steven, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa – Executive Jets. “We are also pleased to continue the Legacy 500’s mock-up demo tour with a stop at the Cannes Show. Visitors will be able to experience its best-in-class cabin where numerous refinements have been implemented to deliver outstanding comfort.”

The new full-scale mock-up and the full fly-by-wire simulator of the Legacy 500 will be exhibited until July 4th in front of the entrance of the general aviation FBO of Cannes-Mandelieu Airport where pilots and interested clients are encouraged to come and see the fly by wire capabilities the Legacy 500 will offer and view the most comfortable and modern cabin the legacy 500 offers.
