Aircraft engine innovator Rowe dies
Brian H. Rowe developed engines for all types of aircraft, from 777 widebodies to F-16 fighter jets. He was chief executive of General Electric‘s aircraft engine business from 1979 to 1993. Rowe died Thursday at age 75.
