Brake failure probed in Russian accident; Pakistan crash kills 45

Investigators are focusing on the possibility that a Russian airliner’s hydraulic brake system failed upon the plane’s landing. The Airbus A-310 crashed Sunday in Siberia, killing 124 people. Separately, a passenger plane crashed in Pakistan, killing all 45 people on board.
